Join your fellow NH beef producers for a workshop focusing on beef cattle reproduction and artificial insemination. Dr. Nate Harvey will review the cow's reproductive anatomy and physiology, with an emphasis on detecting heat cycles and preparing for breeding. Tim Champion will demonstrate equipment and techniques for artificial insemination, including semen straws, liquid nitrogen tank, and breeding gun with pipettes. Both instructors will be available for Q&A.
