Free Zoom Webinar: Cold Weather Calving Tips

Come join the NH Beef Producers Association on Tuesday evening, January 16 from 7-8 pm for our first guest Zoom presentation of 2024! Dr. Nate Harvey, large animal veterinarian, will discuss some tips for a successful calving season - particularly if your cattle calve in the winter season. He'll discuss the following topics:

- Preparing yourself and your cows for a successful calving season

- The normal calving process

- When and how to assist a cow during calving

- When and how to assist a newborn calf in cold weather

- Other tips for fending off the cold

- Q&A "Ask the vet"

There is no charge to attend this Zoom presentation, but please RSVP if you plan to attend (email us at infonhbpa@gmail.com). NHBPA membership is not required to attend. All current members will be emailed a Zoom link for this presentation, and non-members will be emailed a Zoom link if they RSVP.
